Quick Update--Confluence!!

jpskewedthroneFirst, I'll be attending Confluence in Pittsburgh, PA this weekend. I'm heading there tomorrow (which is why I was desperate to get chapter 6 done today) and will be back late Sunday or early Monday. If you're in the area, stop by the con and say hi. I have a "We Are The Orcs!" panel on Friday at 6pm, a signing on Saturday at 4pm, and a panel ("Point of View"), reading and kaffeeklatsch on Sunday at 11am, 1pm, 2pm respectively.
There will be chocolate at all events. Also, there may be free t-shirts at the Orcs panel, courtesy of Sam Butler, whose first book comes out later this year from Tor, called Reiffen's Choice.
Today, I finished off chapter 6. Not as many pages remained as I'd originally thought, but there's a decisive break in the novel at this point, with the main characters getting separated from each other. What happens next should be interesting. Anyway, here's the word count:
