More Book News
Oct. 31st, 2005 04:49 pmWell, the engine must be revving up at DAW. I got another email today about the book. They're going to send me a bound galley to show around, since the real ones won't be ready for awhile. I tried to restrain myself in the reply. I think I succeeded better with this reply than the reply to the previous one about publicity.
So an update on that: I sent it back with all of the ideas I had for promoting the book. It was a lengthy email. I haven't heard back yet. I may have startled the publicist. I didn't realize I had so many things planned until I wrote them all down. 6 signings in the area, and my con list! I need to start nailing down some actual dates though. Plan out the signings in January at least.
Anyway, I'm finished teaching and with the excitement over the book today I feel brain-drained. Time to head home.
PS--I've discovered an ARC of my book is up for grabs at ebay here. I don't think this is legal (selling ARCs; it says not for sale on the cover for crying out loud).

Date: 2005-11-02 01:01 am (UTC)as for the arc thingy: i'm not 100% sure if it's illegal, though i think it is. if it's for charity i can understand, but for profit . . . um . . . i don't think so.
