A good friend of mine, from way back in middle school, has a daughter who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Her daughter's name is Aurora Bielaga, and Aurora is attempting to raise funds for her own CureSearch Walk in Seattle this coming July 9th. You can read up about the Walk here to see if it's something you'd be interested in donating to. If you'd like to make a donation in Aurora's name, you can either search for her name at the above page, or follow this link for her personal page directly. Right now, I believe that Aurora is in the lead for donations in her group, and she'd like to keep it that way. *grin*

If you're having problems donating through the online forum, or simply don't like to do such things over the internet, you can also print a donation form and mail it in.

Aurora has recently undergone chemo and appears to be doing well after that. We're keeping out fingers crossed.

Aurora Thanks You

Joshua,

Aurora wants to thank you from the bottom of her heart for posting this. She also wants to thank any one who decides to help her. She wants to help other cancer kids beat this horrible disease. Research is the only way this will happen. More research needs to be done on childhood cancers.

Every day 35 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer – 7 of those children will not survive.
