As you all know, I try to review the books that I've just finished here on my blog and Facebook, Goodreads, etc. In general, I try to give you all an idea of what the book was about, what I liked, perhaps something that I didn't like (even if it didn't really ruin the book or anything), and I REALLY try not to spoil any of the plot issues in the novel, because as a writer I hate it when someone spoils the plot of one of my books.

I do the same thing when I review anthologies, except that I apply all of this to the individual stories in the anthology and I try to review each story in the anthology, rather than the typical review which points out some of the great stories and some of the not-so-good ones and give a general overview of the anthology as a whole.

So my questions are in regards to the anthology reviews: Do you like the individual story reviews, or would you rather see a general overview with a few stories picked and pointed out (either because of goodness or badness), leaving the others a mystery? Do you feel that my individual story reviews reveal too much about the story?

And in general, do you enjoy the reviews (both for anthologies and novels), or am I wasting my time posting them and you'd really rather hear about writing and the exploits of the local writers group and my life in general?
