Christmas Wishlist Suggestions
Nov. 20th, 2007 11:32 amOK, it's that time of year again, when all of us scramble for the perfect gift idea--or just any gift idea--for friends, family, etc. Since I'm a book-o-phile, naturally I think that books are the best gifts EVER! And I know that as an author, the best gift a total stranger can give to me is to purchase my books, for themselves or for their friends or family, so spread the joy of books around! I figured I'd post a list of some of the authors here at LiveJournal, with links to their books for my closest friends here. I'm setting myself up for annoyance or the potential for accidentally dissing someone because I left them out of the list, but the intent here is to just point out some of my friends' books that you might have overlooked. I'm not rating these books, just pointing out that they are out there. You should research them through the links and decide whether or not they would be appropriate gifts for yourself or your friends and family. (I'm totally stealing the format for this from Jim C. Hines.)

I'm sure I've left someone off the list. Feel free to harrangue me if so. These are those on my friends list. And let me know if one of the links doesn't work or points to the wrong book or something. This took alot more work than I originally thought it would.
