All prepped and nowhere to go
Apr. 9th, 2006 07:49 pmSo, I think I've got everything I need to Norwescon next weekend. See, I commute to work and since it's 3 hours one-way I generally drive down on Monday and return on Thursday. I scheduled my flight to leave for the other end of the trip, so I'm heading down to teach tomorrow, leaving from Seattle from there on Thursday, returning from Seattle on Sunday, going back to work on Monday, and finally returning home on Thursday.
So, once again, I THINK I've got everything I'll need.
Promo stuff for con: check.
Books for con (just in case): check.
Clothes for con: check.
Pens for con: check.
Extra brain for con: Ummmm . . .
In revision news, I reread chapter 9 and signed off on it. I then revised chapter 10, which added another 7 pages to the book, since I added an entire new, long scene. I think it's good, but I guess I'll find out. I emailed chapters 7-10 to my editor (with a proviso that chapter 10 hadn't had a second read-through yet so . . .). I'll hopefully be discussing things with her at Norwescon in detail.
I'm seriously feeling fried though. I'll need the break of the con.
Break! Ha!
