I've got the revisions done. Or at least, what I think the revisions should be. I've gone through the notes I made after speaking to my editor and I think I've covered all of the bases. However, I'm concerned that perhaps I didn't do "enough" in some areas, so we'll have to see if my editor suggests I add a little more. The length of the book jumped by 7,000 words, but at this point I feel comfortable with what I've added. Putting in something more, or expanding what I already have, just felt wrong.

So this is what the editor is going to see. I'll mail it later today and then begin the process of fretting over when she'll get back to me and let me know if it's all OK. I'm ahead of schedule (this wasn't due until the end of this month) so things can be changed later. But I like it. The additions meshed nicely with the old material.

Congratulations on getting these finished up.

Ah, book two is not due until . . . February '07, eighteen months after this book was officially due (August). I'm hoping to get most of it written this summer (July and August). Then finish it over the two sememsters somehow while commutting, and revise it next summer. That's the initial plan anyway. We'll see.

And when is YOUR book two due????

18 months?!
