Curiousity

I've got quite a few friends on this ole LJ and I enjoy reading everyone's posts. It's amazing how angsty I get when I'm at a con or something and I don't have the linkage to see LJ and I just KNOW I'm missing something important. But today, while distracting myself from grading by playing on the web, I realized that I've never asked you all how you found me, among other questions.
So, if you care to, leave a comment explaining how you found me (if you remember). And let me know what you like reading in my LJ, what's helpful and what you skim. This is just curiousity on my part, so those who don't feel like responding won't be dropped from the friends list or anything like that.

Date: 2008-03-30 01:03 am (UTC)Way back in my undergrad years, about 4 years ago now, I found an autographed copy of "Skewed Throne" in the campus bookstore and picked it up since the synopsis summary thingy looked interesting. After reading it and loving it, I happened to mention it to fireun, as she usually sends me all kinds of nifty suggestions. Of course, she was already aware of the literary awesomeness, and she kept me updated on when the other two were due out. I think I finally found your LJ when she did some pimping and stuff and I wandered over.
I like hearing your updates on the new book and your advice for authors. The author introductions are always a good read, too. I really like hearing what "normal" is for you guys besides just what we can see in your writings. The pics from Friday nights are great, too!
On a random note, I owe you a big thank you for convincing The Demon that he needs to get back to his writings! I've been at him for awhile, but somehow it means more coming from you.
