Thought I'd point out that a local writing group called STAR is going to be holding a conference about writing in general this coming September 12th. Information about the conference is here. I'll be attending as a panelist on a fantasy panel and also be there for the mass book signing, which is being hosted by a local independent bookstore called River Read. If you're in the area, check out the conference and see if it's something you'd like to attend. The group is mainly focused on writing romance, but the conference is supposed to be geared toward all genre writing.
