My Back Hurts
Feb. 14th, 2007 08:33 pmAnd not because it's Valentine's Day and my partner and I tried something new either. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
No, no. I just spent 2 hours shoveling off the driveway. With help. The snow was supposed to stop this morning, after a little spell of sleet, but NO! NO! It decided to snow all day long! So at 5:30 this evening, we gave up and decided we'd better try to get it done, even though it was still snowing.
And now the wind is blowing to the "blizzard" level, so everything we just did will likely be completely filled in again by tomorrow morning.
*sigh*
But I dug out my car in case I decide to be crazy tomorrow and go in to work. No news on whether it will be cancelled another day, although it doesn't look like it's any better tonight than it was last night.
In other non-weather-related news:
ambasadora has started a new interview element to her page called "Heidi's Pick Six". I believe she's trying for 3 interviews a week and the first couple have already been posted. She asks a bunch of questions (I had fifteen, I think) but the interviewee only gets to answer six of them. So check out her LJ page and learn something new about your favorite authors. My interview is scheduled for February 21st. I'll post a reminder when it comes out.
Also on the interview front, I just sent in my responses to
mistress_sin for her interview, to be posted at DCS Productions website. Check out the website, since it will include reviews of books and music, local bands, and other links to authors and artists.
And that's it for now. Everyone on the east coast stay cozy and warm. It is Valentine's Day after all.
