Time to update the journal. Had to go to a job interview in Oklahoma this week, so feel behind on everything. The interview went well, although I don't think I'm their first choice. However the plane trip!! First flight got cancelled, missed the second flight, got routed through Atlanta with a 20 minute layover that they almost guaranteed I wouldn't make and the default was staying overnight and missing the first part of the interview . . . but in the end I lucked out on a cancellation for a direct flight that day. The flight home went fine, but then my car wouldn't start due to the cold. Oh well.

So that's where I've been. The guinea pig is adjusting well I think. (Although he hates me right now because I took his towel away. It's warm enough out he doesn't need it and he's been hiding in it too much.) Coffee seems to be his settled upon name.

And lastly, the known revision on the thesis are all done. Now I'm waiting to hear from my advisor for some more. I asked yesterday, but he hadn't read any more of it yet. He did say that April 12th was the set date for the defense. I'm already nervous.

April 12th. That's less than a month away. Can you hear the clock ticking? I recommend you start panicking now, rather than waiting for April :-)
