Seattle: The Return

jpskewedthroneThis weekend (June 22-26) I'll be at Writer's Weekend in Bellevue, WA. It's an event you have to register for, HOWEVER on Saturday there is a booksale and signing open to the public. The booksale is from 1-7pm and the signing is from 3-4pm. I'll be at the signing, so if your in the area, stop on by to say hi, get your copy of Skewed Throne signed, or just chat about the book. According to my schedule, the event is being held in rooms Somerset 2 and 3 at:
Bellevue Sheraton, 100 112th NE, Bellevue, WA
I'll also be signing stock at the U-Dub bookstore. This is not an official signing, but if I find out what time I'll be at the store I'll try to post that information. If nothing else, perhaps you can stop by after the weekend and get a signed copy of the book.
In other news, it's bleepity-bleep-bleep hot here . . . and it's not even 9am. I'm not sure how much writing is going to get done. Heat does not promote activity, and writing is unfortunately activity. It's surprising how much you sweat while hovering over a laptop. And I can't get anything written by lugging things off to, say, the local air-conditioned bookstore or anything. Just too much distraction at places like that.
But I'm definitely going to try to produce some wordage today. I've only got today and tomorrow before I hit the plane for the Seattle trip. I'll update later with the results . . . if any.
