Writing Game

OK,
tryslora has an interesting little game going on here, where the idea is to continue the story already begun. I added a small piece . . . but no one has added anything since and I'm annoyed. *grin* So head on over and check it out.
I'd add one rule though: If you do add something to story, make sure it's more than just one paragraph or two. Try to add more of a "scene," meaning something that advances the plot, the character, or both. Preferrably both. Mine mainly focused on setting and character. Good writing combines multiple elements into one scene, so why not practice up here?
But at the same time have some fun. That is the intent behind the game. And if you do add something to the post, mention it in your own LJ, with a link. Hopefully the story will spread.

Date: 2006-02-16 12:02 pm (UTC)I went and got sick that afternoon... the incoherent sort of I have no brain sick. So I haven't gotten to play since then. *sighs* *pouts* Feeling a little less vague this morning so I have to go read everything and add some... I'll probably post a reminder today, too.
I like the idea of the new rule and will try to remember to include it when I post today. Thanks!
