I don't 'do' pre-orders, because I don't buy from Amazon (postage to Australia too expensive). I knew it was coming out roughly at this time, but not the precise date. Also, this series is not well-known here at all.

I always find it interesting what's popular in different areas/regions. My own books are selling 5 times better in Germany than they are in the US, for example.
