It just "popped" up! I'd followed the link from the earlier post, and thought that it is indeed a great cover. From the ships in the background, my impression is that the stories occur at a time more recent as compared to real history than the impression I got from reading all three. Also, if the cover depiction is of Varis, she seems a bit more "worldly" or mature than I would have thought from the books. Dave
But she has since the first book, too. What's interesting to me is that the character on all three covers is clearly intended to be the same person at different ages. How often to you read a series where the heroine is tall and blond on one cover, and short and dark-haired on the next?
Your German covers ROCK the WORLD! They are so eye catching and give her such a cool character - who could stop themselves from buying the books? If I read German I would totally buy them!
