New Review of the Anthology RIVER
Jan. 2nd, 2012 03:18 pmA new review has popped up for the just released anthology River, edited by Alma Alexander. The anthology contains my short story The River, which is set in Amenkor and features Erick with a brief appearance by Varis, Bloodmark, and the Mistress. The reviewer says my story is "marvelous," and says readers won't know who the woman at the end is unless they've read my Amenkor series. I find this interesting because the woman isn't anyone in the Throne of Amenkor series. It's actually someone that's part of another series that I have sitting in my head, waiting to be written. But oh well, the woman isn't necessary for the enjoyment of the story. (I think I know who the reader thinks the woman is, though, and there isn't enough in the short story for them to know it's NOT that person.)
In any case, check out the review for the comments on the other great stories and then check out the anthology.
