Nephew PicSpam!!!

I've been quiet the last few days because of Boskone. Yes, I'm going to blame it on Boskone! The con isn't until next weekend, but being a planner, I looked ahead and realized that the first exam in all of my classes is the week after Boskone and so I'd probably better get my ass in gear and get those exams written NOW because I wouldn't have time while partying at Boskone. So I've spent the last few days doing the normal stuff (grading quizzes/writing lectures) ALONG WITH planning and writing the exams (which I would normally have done next weekend). I've got them all done now, thankfully. These are just rough drafts, since I don't know where I'll get to by the time the exam rolls around, but after Boskone I can come back to these and tweak them for material covered, timing, points, etc. Typing them usually takes up the most time, and that's out of the way now.
I'm planning on cracking Civ IV tonight, play around with how to do something on that. Anything really. I started up a game, stared at the opening screen with tribesmen waiting for orders, emitted and BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! . . . and then carefully turned it off because I had other stuff that needed to be done. That's all I've done. I don't even know how to move the tribesmen around to tell them to kill people yet. *grin*
And now, for the picspam! Here are some pics of the first nephew. The first shot is the happy parents, pre-pop, at the hospital. Note the smiling faces. All the rest are afterwards (obviously), the first few about 30 seconds after birth. Not the exhausted faces and lack of smiles. It apparently took about 18 hours. Born February 1st, 1am, Pacific Standard Time. I'll get to see the tyke in April when I'm there for Norwescon. I'm assuming that's enough time for the parents to settle in and get some sleep, although that's not what I've heard from them so far. But enough chitchat. You aren't here to talk to the author, are you? You want baby pics!

Tomorrow (I think), I've got an interesting question to post to everyone. Sort of research for me, but also hopefully it will spark some intriguing thoughts from all of you as well, make you think or speculate or whatever. Or it will generate no thoughts whatsoever. *shrug* We'll see.
ETA: Apparently these pics have suffered from the AOL picture problem I was dealing with before. I'm trying to fix that now. And may I say, I'm so totally pissed with AOL. ROYALLY. PISSED.
ETA 2: So if you aren't using the AOL browser, can you see the pics? I couldn't see them when I used Explorer, but maybe that's just me.
