Well, after much suffering and thinking and writing and rewriting and trashing and epiphanies, I managed to finish chapter 12. *heavy sigh* Here's the word count:

Hmm . . . the wordmeter doesn't seem to be working. So here's the basic version with no cool graphics:

92250/100000 or about 92.25%
Well of Sorrows

I managed to start chapter 13 today as well, getting 1390 words done even tough today was the first day of the new semester. Somehow, I managed to write between work and the gym, then wrote again after the gym. Really, the hardest part is getting your ass down in the chair. But it does help that I actually knew what was going to happen at the beginning of this chapter, unlike chapter 12. The words flow much easier if you can "see" the scenes and where they're supposed to be going. Hopefully that's a good sign that the rest of the book will fall together well. Maybe I'm over that "muddle in the middle" part of the book.

I can always hope. *grin*

Can you be part of the Book Discussion?

I have been asked to host the book discussion of The Skewed Throne at The Empire of the Cat, starting the 3rd week in February and going for 4 weeks.

Would you be able to be part of this? I can start a thread that is "questions for the author" if being part of the main discussion is too time consuming.

Needless to say I am really excited and raring to go!
May be you could post about it here in you LJ to get more folks to come and join the discussion?

Of course I can be part of the book discussion. How much a part depends on the busy-ness of school and such, but I can be part of the main discussion, and try to answer question on a "questions for the author" thread. You might want to ping me just before the discussions start, so I remember to check back on a daily basis, rather than my every so often check at the moment.

And I'll certainly announce the discussion here at LJ.
