Managed to get it done today. For a while there, I didn't think it would happen. I hit a few spots where I wasn't sure how to transition into the next thing or what the next thing should be. I knew where I was HEADED, but of course not how to get there. The story of my life.

I had a really interesting scene with Varis today that I'm not sure I handled right. I sent the chapter to my first reader to see what he says. I like it, but that doesn't mean it's right for the story. I'm concerned the characters aren't acting right. It's a totally new situation for Varis, so how would she handle it? Besides sticking a dagger into it. That's not her answer to everything. Most things maybe, but not everything. *grin*

All that leaves now . . . is the rest of the book. Chapter 3 awaits! But this chapter I have a "cliff-hanger" ending, so starting chapter 3 should be easy. I know exactly where it has to begin.
