Here's a possible open market. Harper is looking for submissions for a new imprint/line that publishes original ebooks. At the link, go down to the "Publishing News" section and you'll see the announcement with the details. Note that they're only open to submissions from newbies and aspiring writers for two weeks in October, so get those manuscripts polished up between now and then and submit!

How do they define "New?" Never sold a novel/print novel/anything?

I would assume "new" would mean haven't sold a novel to a major publisher. Best guess based on what was in the note. I'd wait and check out the official website once it goes live to see what the nitty-gritty details are.

Great! I think it's a great opportunity, although I don't know all of the details. I'd certainly look over those details once the official webpage goes live. Always look at the fine print.
