My husband and I were discussin Neil Gaiman earlier today. I told him then that I wasn't really a fan, but that I'd never really read his sandman stuff. I can see now from your review that I would remain unimpressed. I enjoyed American Gods, though I did have to slog through parts, but Stardust was completely unmemorable for me. The movie, imho, is much more fun than the book. But what do I know? The guy's a millionaire, he must be doing something right!
