Sherwood Smith ([livejournal.com profile] sartorias) and I chat about worldbuilding, dark fantasy, and other topics in a guest post over at her blog. Stop on by and check it out. And continue the conversation in the comments!

And lo! a review of Well of Sorrows has hit the internets and it was good. This review is by Rob H. Bedford and is posted at SFFWorld.com. It's a relatively detailed review, long, but I don't think it really spoils anything in the book, so go take a look.

If you were so inclined, at SFFWorld.com this month, they'll also be discussing the book this month at one of their forums. The discussion doesn't begin until tomorrow, February 1st, but swing on by and let people know what you thought of the book! I know what questions I'd ask, if I had one question to ask fans about the book. I'm pretty certain I'd get divided and opinionated answers. *grin*

Starting tomorrow, and continuing all through February, there will be a massive contest with over 40 books to be given away by a group of authors, including me. (I could figure out the exact count, but that would require math and since I've been teaching math all day and have now arrived home, this is not going to happen.) This contest will be called "Crossing the Streams". Details will be posted either later tonight or tomorrow ASAP. I would appreciate it if everyone would spread the word about the contest. The Twitter tag with be #xingstreams, so watch for it there and on Facebook and at various other author blogs throughout the blogosphere! You have been warned!
