I've been busy, busy, busy.

First, I had ran down to Ocean City, Maryland for my brother's wedding. It was on the beach and we had to wear black suits, so I sweated. Alot. It was running down my back and I smiled and stood in the boiling hot sand beneath the sweltering sun with the ocean about 2 feet away, threatening to wash us all out to sea. But that aside, it was a GREAT wedding. The night before my brother took everyone on the "bachelor" party . . . to the go-cart track. We each loaded into our own cars and attempted to run each other off the track. It was hilarious. Ever tried to force your mother off the road? Passing your relatives is a hilarious! Especially when they're 20 years older than you. And you'd all just eaten a huge seafood dinner. We raced each other multiple times and when we were finished, some of us had bruises and all of us were grinning ear to ear. Then, the morning of the wedding, we saw dolphins playing in the ocean outside our balcony window. Everyone made it to the wedding on time, it went off without a hitch, nice short ceremony, then retired to the hotel for the reception, which was uncomplicated and had great food. And an open bar. *grin* After that, we went back to our hotel and went down to the beach. I body surfed and got horribly bruised when my boogie board got out of control and the cord wrapped around me as I was tossed and turned by the waves. I wore out everyone else except the 17 year old. *hee hee!*

But then there was the horribly long drive home with my legs aching and the return to school. *sigh* The first day went well. I'm on the second day now, but haven't taught yet. That's coming shortly. In good news, I managed to drag my butt out of bed yesterday and write before heading to class. If I can keep that up, things should go well with finishing off book 3 this year. I hope to write tonight after I get home and do a little ab and sculpting work as well. We'll see how it goes.

But the best part was that I got to read my evaluations from the students for last spring. Best comment, which WILL go in my promotional packet: "And you're hot and have a nice ass."

Now THERE'S a recommendation for a math professor. *grin*

Wordage to come later.
