Time is Running Out!!

The online bookshop Clarkesworld Books is running a contest for The Skewed Throne:



in which you can win a free signed copy of the book PLUS a "dagger pen". Since the assassins in the novel use a dagger as their weapon of choice, the dagger pens seen in this picture:



seemed like an obvious additional prize to go along with the signed copy. Only one of the pens pictured will be used in this contest however. I haven't selected the one that will be used yet though. OH MY, GANDALF!

Copies of the book have arrived. I have actual copies of the book! Hardcover copies! Two of them!

I think I'm going to cry. Oh hell, I've already started.

According to my editor, the new shipping system doesn't send the author copies of the book out until the actual release date or something, so she took pity on me and sent two "instant gratification" copies, as well as a few copies to my agent.

And they've arrived. They're here, on my counter (well . . . one has already made it to my book shelf), in my apartment. If I dared, I could actually touch it.

I need tissue.
