Reviews are tricky things, because you have to keep in mind that just because you liked it, that doesn't mean everyone else will, and same for if you didn't like it. (There are plenty of books out there that I read and didn't like, but are selling much better than mine, for example.)
Not sure how it works with the magazine "owning" the review though. Perhaps you should just ask them? Maybe if you post them on your journal but with a mention of the magazine as a form of advertising they'd be all for it.
