there are lots of really good resources for writing queries out there. one of my favorite is miss. snark. she's a real ny agent (anonymous) who was the first person to clearly articulate to me what makes a great query. anyway, she no longer blogs, but she has left the site up, and it is worth stopping by. http://misssnark.blogspot.com/
