Buddy Update

Well, the last day he's been eating more on his own and drinking as well. He's still not eating as much as we'd like, but he seems to be getting better. We aren't force feeding him anything anymore. He's acting more like normal, so we're hoping that whatever was wrong, it's on the mend. Thanks to everyone for sending good thoughts this way!

good thoughts! my bunny is going through GI stasis right now and its just not fun to 'wait and see' and have to do syringe feedings. *crosses fingers for you*

Oh, good. Give him more pettins from Omaha, will you? And yourselves a pat on the back for being such good parents *g*. Hope he continues to improve!

Animals do grieve (not that you don't already know that).

When John Henry (dog) died Billie (other dog) was really terribly upset in a rather quiet way and didn't really begin to recover until I got Blue.

That's great news! I hope Budy continues to improve and regain his appetite.

Sounds good!

He may have been a bit depressed. Hopefully, he'll perk up and make friends with his new companion.

*sending healing thoughts* for Buddy.

I had finches that were sick. Never thought I'd get so attached. I spent 80 bucks to try to find out what was wrong with them. They were losing feathers. Turned out they were plucking their own out of stress due to these field mice were getting in the house. But I never knew because they came at night.

I can't talk about the rest. Just make sure there aren't any holes in the house and no predators around at night.
