Big, big congrats on finishing the story, espcially because it's a short story. "An actual short story. Written by me. That hasn't (yet) blown itself up into a full-fledged novel." This is me all over. I, too, finished a short story (in May) that wasn't clamouring to become longer and longer until it morphed into a novel. I was a little surprised, frankly.
