I have Wordage!

So apparently the dearth of words yesterday was a fluke. Or the weather. Or, as matociquala claims, she just sucked up all wordage yesterday for herself in a feat of unparalleled selfishness. (BTW, I have Trillian now. Just have to figure out how to get myself onto the OWW chat using it.)

In any case, I managed to write today. And write quite a bit. I fixed one scene already written, which changed the plot of the end of the chapter. *sigh* But I'm much more comfortable with the way the chapter is turning out now. The emotional content seems to be melding well, since Varis is getting hit from three different fronts. I'm also playing with a new character that will seriously complicate her life, which is always fun. But mostly today was getting across information the reader needs without (hopefully) doing an info dump. I think I did that. We'll see upon the reread.

Anyway, in other news, for a significant portion of the day I had no water. Went to shower: no water. Later, no water. Lunch, no water. Later, black disgusting water. I let that run for a while until it was clear, then brushed my teeth. Got ready to shower. Water seemed fine. Stepped into the shower and suddenly the water cut off . . . and then basically exploded out of the showerhead. Must have had some air trapped in the line or something. Managed to shower and do the dishes and then went back to writing.
