Whoever responds first will get his first book in the Stoneways Trilogy, Reiffen's Choice, and the other will get the second book, Queen Ferris. Congratulations! I'll let everyone know once they've read the books and posted a review. We should also be seeing a review of the third novel in the trilogy, The Magicians' Daughter sometime soon, since I was informed that the ARC I gave away earlier this month had arrived in the mail. Everyone should start looking for that to hit the shelves at the end of April.

In other news, I started contacting Borders in Seattle to see if they're willing to get any of my books in so I could swing by and sign them while I was there for Norwescon . . . and it was a bust. Apparently, no one is allowed to order books in, even for an author stopping by. I sort of knew this was true, since I have an in with the local Waldenbooks and was told that the home office had initiated this policy, but I'd hoped that it would have been loosened a little since then. But no. So I'll be stopping by some B&Ns and signing what they get in for me, and I'll try to hit the Elliot Bay bookstore and the University bookstore while I'm there for the con. I'll post what stores had copies once I've signed them all.

And for those disappointed with the contest, I'll be giving away two new book in April, so keep watch for more contests.
