I'm jealous. I'm done with all my grading *except* for finals (and only from a student who majorly pissed me off) and I don't give any of mine until tomorrow afternoon. I should be done by this time Friday.
The student who majorly pissed me off? I'm teaching a Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry class using a modified Moore method. Essentially if no student proves a theorem then the class as a whole doesn't see the proof, since they present all the proofs to the class. I've been begging them for the last week of class to present some of the theorems from the last problem set because they are terribly important. This young man handed in all of them on Friday and didn't present a single one. He'll get bonus points for doing so, since most other students didn't, but he hurt the rest of the class. This could have helped them prep for the final. I need to calm down so I can grade those last few problems with some equanimity.
