Cracked Throne is ALIVE!!!!

So today, the paperback of Skewed Throne and the hardcover of Cracked Throne hit the shelves. I've already been informed that some of the amazon orders have shipped of Cracked Throne. I say some because mine has not yet shipped, or so they inform me. I have now decided that there is a conspiracy in which everyone is acting so that I, the author, never actually own a copy of my own book. Sam Butler taunted me with a copy at World Fantasy. Paul Genesse, fellow DAW author with a story in Furry Fantastic, emails to tell me his copy from amazon is on the way. Jim Hines, also a fellow DAW author, is too busy with his own book release of Goblin Quest to even notice that other books were released on the same day. The conspiracy continues!
So go forth! Buy copies of Skewed Throne and Cracked Throne!! Taunt me by sending me pictures of you holding the copy and mocking me!
For those in the Albany area, I'll be reading from and signing copies of The Cracked Throne this coming Saturday at 7pm, along with DAW author Barbara Campbell. Come join us for much frivolity. She was part of the whole "drunk authors destroy dartboard at Albacon" scene. So the signing should be fun! *evil grin*
A WFC report will have to be forthcoming. I'm still recovering and trying to play catchup at the day job. But because everyone else is doing it, here's my tentative con schedule for 2007:
Arisia in Boston, Mass.
Norwescon in Seattle, WA
WFC in Saratoga, NY
I'm sure a few more cons will be added at a later date, such as possibly Balticon, Lunacon, etc. But for now, that's it.

Date: 2006-11-08 01:07 am (UTC)Seriously, congratulations. I'm hoping to post a new-book roundup in the next day or two. This virtual tour thing has honestly been a bit of a headache in terms of trying to keep everything updated, ya know?
Wish I could make the signing! Hope it goes great! And I'll keep an eye open for the book at Windycon this weekend.

Date: 2006-11-08 11:23 pm (UTC)We've got to figure out some way to make this work though. How's January for you guys? I'm off of school then.
And have you played Order of the Stick, the board game, yet?

Date: 2006-11-09 01:24 am (UTC)Oh, and will you be at Boskone this year?

Date: 2006-11-10 03:05 am (UTC)I don't plan on going to Boskone this year, although that might change. I'll be at Arisia though.

Date: 2006-11-10 11:34 am (UTC)We keep wanting to go back to Arisia, but we can only afford one Boston con that time of year (and I've done Boskone since I was 12, so missing it isn't an option for me *smile*). I'd love to go on a day membership, even, if I could get my kids into child care for the day. One of these years we will do so.

Date: 2006-11-08 02:49 pm (UTC)TST paperback, TCT hardcover
Date: 2006-11-08 03:09 pm (UTC)But I'm not gloating, oh no. That would be so undignified ;-)
I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed them immensely and that I'm busy writing reviews. Got to spread the word and all that ...

Date: 2006-11-08 07:50 pm (UTC)So I have fans in Austria, huh? That's so cool. I get little shivers down my back when I think about it. Good shivers. *grin* Where do you post the reviews? amazon.de?
