I've heard a few comments about the last few books--mostly about how they ended on cliffhangers, although that might not be true. (Many people say my books end on cliffhangers, which I don't agree with. Yes, there is more story and it's obvious there's more story, but the internal plot threads for that book have been resolved . . . that's not a cliffhanger.) Is that why you've been disappointed with the last two books?
