Crackle glass is colored glass (vases and pitchers and bowls and other shapes) that is hand blown and, while the glass is still warm, it is immersed in water for a short time, which causes the glass to fracture but not actually break apart. The end result is glass with tiny cracks all through it but that's still intact. I'll try to get a picture of a few and post them, since people might be interested.
